I am a visual artist based in Melbourne, Australia. I create art work populated with symbols relating to the human experience and the different landscapes that surround us. 

My paintings draw inspiration from places that are not necessarily beautiful or grand, but have been affected
by human presence, time or climate.

In my large paintings I use layers of oil paint with thick mediums, in smaller works gouache, ink and collage.
I enjoy experimenting in colour and texture.

My paintings may appear abstract, but the viewer will find shapes and objects in them that they will recognize to draw them into the painting.
